Dionicia Leija, 83, of Avondale, AZ died August 28, 2014 at home. She was born October 9, 1930 in Edinburg, Texas to Pedro and Bertha Medina. She is survived by her daughter Joann Jurado; son Paul Joe Leija; sister Lupe Schneider; 5 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 4th at New Life Covenant Church, 541 E. Main St, Avondale, AZ 85323 with a viewing one hour prior.
