Diana Elizabeth Ortiz, age 54 of Avondale, AZ died July 16, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born July 24, 1964 in Salinas, CA to Irene R. and Manuel Ortiz, Sr. Diana grew up in Las Cruces, NM and graduated from Mayfield High School. She attended New Mexico State University and worked as the night supervisor for the State Farm claims department.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Marina Ortiz; parents, Manuel and Irene Ortiz; and brother, Manuel Ortiz, Jr. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Geronimo and Juanita Rivera, and paternal grandparents, Rodrigo and Nicolasa Ortiz.
A memorial service will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:30 pm, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
