Cleo L. Blomstrand, nee Hoverman, age 64 years of Goodyear, AZ and formerly of Chicago has died. Beloved wife of 43 years to Thomas, Chicago Police Department (retired); loving mother of John, Melissa, and Brian; proud grandparent of Haley, Jillian, Jordan, Brendan, and Dylan; dear sister of Carol Gorenchen (MI). She is survived by many Chicago nieces and nephews, and George Blomstrand, brother of Thomas. Her donation of essential organs has already saved many lives. Cleo died suddenly and without warning of a massive cerebral hemorrhage on December 24th, 2010, outside Phoenix, AZ succumbing to her injury on December 25, 2010. Cleo was born in Pontiac, MI, residing in Gladstone, MI in her youth before attending nursing school in Chicago. Lifelong and proud R.N., realtor, and a bright-light she will be missed by all. Private family services were held last week at Thompson’s West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
