Rachel Michelle Sevier

Rachel was the second born of six children. After graduating from Whites Creek High school in 1983, she went on to Volunteer State College and got a degree in Medical Transcription. She spent the majority of her career as a transcriptionist and teacher. One of her proudest achievements was traveling to the island of Saint Vincent in the Caribbean Islands where she taught medical transcription and helped create a new industry and work opportunities for the people of Saint Vincent.

Rachel married the love of her life Jeffery Sevier Sr in 1998. Together they had 2 children. She was a mother to 3 children and step mother to 3 more.

Rachel was a brightly shining star. She had a big personality and was a very outgoing and loving person.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt and a Grandmother.

Rachel was proceeded in death by her grandparents Benjamin and Nellie Osburn. And Albert and Vera Bostick. Her mother Diana Bostick Osburn

She is survived by her Husband Jeffery Sevier Sr, Father Thomas Osburn. Her children Andrew Osburn-Davis, Dominic Sevier, and Frederik Sevier. Her step Children Jeffery Sevier Jr, Jared Dempsey, and Tamika Williams. Her brothers Thomas, Sean, Benjamin, Christopher and Ren Osburn. And her 11 grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral home December 3rd 2022 at 2pm with visitation from 12:00 – 2:00
