Linda Carolyn Reid

Linda Carolyn Reid, age 81, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. Linda was born Tuesday, May 19, 1942 in Hartsville, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents, Armor and Annie Hix Burton; son, Billy Durham, III.; sisters: Edna Ruth Yambrick Margie Ann Dillard Evelyn Marie Agee Burton.

A master prepper, Linda was always preparing for any and everything; a nursing technician, for Memorial Hospital and then retired from Skyline Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James E. Reid; sons, Jeff (Tina) Durham and Johnny Durham; granddaughter, Teri (Gary) Murphy, Jennifer (Danny) Harp; grandsons, William Durham, Jonathan Durham, Ryan Durham, Colton Durham, Brandon Durham; great-grandchildren, Unity Murphy, Isaiah Murphy, Lincoln Murphy, Lilyana Murphy, Zane Durham ; very special cousin, Shirley McCreary and a host of other family and friends who loved her.

A Gathering of Friends to Remember Linda will be Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 11:00 until 1:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
