In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Novak.
Kenneth was an ordained minister and believed that helping people was the great commission. Ken and Mary always had an open door for anyone in need. He worked often in the prison and jail ministry. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors working. He was also a sports fan – several of the teams that he liked – Redwings, Michigan State, Spartans, Tigers, and the Titans. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Madison.
He is survived by his children, Jason Novak, Issac Novak, Mikel Novak, and Shaundor Novak; grandchildren, Tori Novak, Morgan Dicks, and Jadyn Novak; great grandchild, Declan Doud; stepchildren, James L. Johnson, Jr. (Lindsay); step-daughter, Vicki Contreras (Rick); six step-grandchildren; siblings, Pat, Rose, Bob, John, and Sandy. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
A visitation for Kenneth will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072, followed by a celebration of life service at 1:00 PM.
