He was preceded in death by his parents Norman K. Stone and Hattie O. Stone, his brothers James Stone, Norman Stone Jr.,and George Stone, his sisters Lois Anderson, Irene Tidwell, and Katherine Gregory, and his Daughter in Law Regina Stone.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Gloria Jean Stone ("Nanny"), his sons Harold D. Stone Jr. (Katrina), Markal T. Stone (Deborah), and Douglas C. Stone (Kelly), 9 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Harold was a deacon at Kemper Heights Church Of Christ for close to 50 years. He retired from Data Cash Register In Nashville Tennessee after over 40 years of service where he traveled all over the United States and met many people. He loved his family beyond measure and was always there for them. His faith in the Lord and his kindness will always be remembered.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Psalm 73:26.
A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, March 11, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
A visitation for Harold will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
