Elizabeth "Libby" S. Parsons, age 87, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023. She was born Sunday, May 12, 1935; preceded her in death by: Husband, William L. (Bill) Parsons; Parents, John & Floris Scruggs; In-laws, Robert L. & Lillian Allen Parsons; Son-in-law, David G. Pemberton.

Libby is survived By daughters: Pam (Steve) Burton, Kennesaw, GA, Leigh Ann Pemberton, Goodlettsville, TN. Cindy (George) Harper, Goodlettsville, TN; grandchildren: Geoff (Christine) Pemberton, Louisville, KY, David (Chandler) Pemberton, Nashville, TN, Mary Harper (Cory) Stafford, Goodlettsville, TN, Ashley (Faith) Burton, Culleoka, TN; great-grandchildren: Leighton Mae Pemberton, Nashville, TN, George Layfield Pemberton, Nashville, TN, Riley Hayes Stafford, Goodlettsville, TN.

A visitation for Libby will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, April 21, 2023 one hour prior to the service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville.

A celebration of life will occur Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with The Rev. Sarah McWhirt-Toler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers: Steve Burton, George Harper, Geoff Pemberton, David Pemberton, Cory Stafford, Ronnie Fie, Allen Herald, Jim Sullivan, Ken Bowles.
