She is preceded in death by her father, George Johnson; mother, Ethel Walker; son, James Brown.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of over 70 years, John Terry Brown; sons, John W. Brown (Dottie) and Greg L. Brown (Suellen); sister, Dianne Harrell; brother, Richard Work; granddaughter, Ashley Brown; great grandchildren, Elena Brown and Ivan Brown.
A funeral service will be held 1PM Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Carolyn’s church for over 50 years, Bethel Primitive Baptist Church 515 Long Hollow Pike, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 with Pastor Ronald Lawerence officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 11AM until 1PM at the church.
