Sharon Ann Lee Sproles

A resident of Maurepas, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at age 62. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, Maurepas, on Friday, Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jason Palermo, celebrant. Burial in Whitehall Community Cemetery. Survived by her husband, Charles L. Sproles, of Maurepas; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Joey Retif, of Gonzales; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Robin Fontenot, of Whitehall, and Randy and Christy Fontenot, of St. Amant; five sisters, Jerri Broussard, of Prairieville, Barbara Dupuy, of Whitehall, Herreldean "Put" Broussard, of Opelousas, Shelia Bourque, of Gonzales, and Paula Sullivan, of Alabama; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Harold and Norma Carmack Lee. Pallbearers will be Randy Fontenot, Joey Retif, Charles Dupuy, Darren Simoneaux, Johnny Simoneaux and David Bergeron.
