Robert “Robbie” Dewayne Lively, 41, of Gonzales, La passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Robbie was born July 18, 1980 in Baton Rouge, La. He was a resident of Gonzales and previously Port Allen. He worked as a plant operator at Sochem Industries in Port Allen, La. He is survived by his loving wife Alisca Haydel Lively; Sons, Robert James “R.J.” and Michael Paul Lively; Parents, Robert Chelcie Lively and Doris Swarner Lively; Sisters, Paula Lively Ballard & husband Corey and Chelcie Lively & Brian Ealy; Mother and Father-in-Law, James & Toni Haydel; Sisters-in-law, Tathia Lambert & husband Bart, and Danielle Solar & husband Lloyd; Brother-in-law, Murphy Haydel & wife Leigh Ann. A host of nieces and nephews: Alyssa Ballard, Amilia Ballard, Destiny Lively, Jeremy “JJ” Joseph, Lindse` York, Morgan Laiche, Logan Marcotte, Hunter Solar, Haleigh Twiner, Finley Haydel and Brooks Haydel. He is preceded in death by his brother Michael Raymond Towns and grandparents, Clifton Lavoid & Minnie Whatley Lively and Alfred & Carol Swarner. Love is patient, love is kind….love never fails 1 Corinthians 13: 4, 8 Robert Lively followed the example of Jesus when it came to love. Robbie was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He and Alisca had an amazing love for each other and that love produced two sons that he adored. His best times were spent with R.J. and Michael Paul hunting, fishing, watching them play soccer or just hanging together. Robbie’s love and kindness was extended not only to his family but also to his many friends. He was always willing to help anyone at any time. He could fix anything and he did it with a giving heart. Dear Children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18. Robbie lived out this verse daily. He loved BIG with his actions! A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 9, 2022 at Graceworks Church at 16131 LA-44, Prairieville, LA 70769. Visitation will be from 10 AM until service at 12 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend. Pallbearers will be Corey Ballard, Jeremy “JJ” Joseph, Brian Ealy, Justin Gremillion, Bart Lambert, Lloyd “J Boy” Solar, Murphy Haydel, and Randy York.
