Rachael Morgan Smith Crosby

Rachael Morgan Smith Crosby passed away peacefully on August 18, 2022 at the age of 29. Although her time on Earth here was all too short, her beautiful spirit will live on. She is survived by her mother Kristi Slade Aucoin and her step-dad Dwain P. Aucoin, her siblings; Ragan Ford (Harlan), Ryanne Aucoin, Rylan Aucoin, Reese Aucoin, Rhema Aucoin and Ashlyn Aucoin, her nieces and nephew; Makayleeh, Ryiah, Aspen and Holden Ford. She is also survived by her grandparents; Linda and Glen Leblanc and Darlene and Terry Slade and her husband Jeffery Crosby. She is preceded in death by her father Windell Smith.

Rachael had such a big heart, always putting others needs before her own. She loved doing crafts of all sorts; redoing furniture, painting, doing hair and building things. She truly had a creative side. Rachael loved to spend time with family and friends. She especially loved those nieces and nephew of hers, they always put a smile on her face. Her beautiful spirit will be missed by many but will live on in the memories we have of Rachael.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales from 10AM until 1PM. The Celebration of Rachael’s Life will begin at 1PM.
