Pamela Kessel Dixon

Pamela Kessel Dixon, a native of Baltimore, MD and resident of Prairieville, LA passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023 at the age of 70. She was a 1971 graduate of East Ascension High School. She spent many years as a Secretary and Administrative Assistant for Prairieville Elementary and Kingfish. She had numerous hobbies she truly enjoyed, such as taking vacation adventures, spontaneous adventure drives, Asian history and culture, and being a maw maw to her grandchildren. She was an avid bowler and loved fishing with her husband. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Keith Dixon; and her parents, Earl and Sylvia Kessel. She is survived by her daughter, Macy (Jeff) Delaune; sons, David (Stephanie) Dixon, Bryan Dixon, and Gyeong Min Yoo; grandchildren, Tyler (Kelli) Delaune, Will Delaune, Cade Delaune, Zoe Dixon, and Kennedy Dixon; great grandchild, Bailey Delaune; sisters, Sandy Ryan, Cindy Struppeck, Debbie Dixon, Kim Kessel, and Teri Kessel; and brother, Alan Kessel. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life for their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.
