Nancy Lynn Cornelius

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rhett Hall, Steve Hall (Cindy) Amy Cornelius; and her grandchildren, Madelyn and Lindsey Hall, Zachary Hall, Erika, Holly, Joseph, Allison, Wesley, Samantha, Ava, David and Lauren Pezant, as well as her siblings and extended family.

She was predeceased by her son, Marc J. Hall; parents, Velpeau and Gertrude Smith; and sisters, Diane and Judith Smith.

Nancy left behind scores of people deeply impacted by the time spent with her, especially her two sons, daughter and twelve grandchildren.

She was the center of attention everywhere she went and was never short of friends. Her humor was incomparable, she could get a whole room of people laughing in seconds with her stories. Everyone who knew her would describe her as likable and funny.

She had countless hobbies and jobs but the ones that stood out the most were her exceptional cooking, interior decorating, gift giving, care taking and most importantly, her role as a mother and grandmother. She was the best grandmother a child could ask for. When her grandchildren were around, she overflowed with an abundance of love and kindness that was truly unmatched.

At Nancy’s request, no public service will be held. A private gathering of family will be arranged in her honor.
