Michael Rose Zaitoon

Michael Rose Zaitoon, 81, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. Michael was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Enola Braud; her brothers, Randy Braud; and her sister, Reynelle Bercegeay. She is survived by her children: Timothy (Lisa) Braud, Amy Turnage, Cecilia (Eduardo) Leyva, and Patricia Gray; her sister, Joyce Kling; her brothers, Terry Braud and Wayne Braud; as well as her beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A dedicated nurse for over 35 years, Michael had a deep passion for caring for others. In her personal life, she found joy in gardening, particularly in tending to her roses. Above all, she adored her family and cherished spending time with them. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 Hwy 73, Prairieville, Louisiana 70769. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at the same location. Burial will take place at 12:15 PM at Prairieville Cemetery, Duplessis Rd, Prairieville, LA. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
