Marie C Boudreaux

Marie C. Boudreaux, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Prairieville, La. passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 92. She was a 1948 graduate of Donaldsonville High School. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Ladies after Society and the choir. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, going to the casino, dancing, her flowers and plants and jewelry. She is survived by her second husband, Louis Boudreaux; 3 daughters, Deborah A. Capello, Wendy A. Capello, and Lisa B. Graffeo (Rudolph Sr.); son, Leonard C. Capello (Betty); 7 grandchildren, Wilbert C. Capello (Amy), Nicholas J. Capello (Crystal), Brian J. Davis (June), Monica R. Davis, Amy M. Capello (James), Rudolph J. Graffeo, Jr., and Ryan J. Graffeo; great grandchildren, Gavin and Jacob Capello, Jasmine and Jeremiah Davis, Mason and Kayli Capello, Aubrey Cutrer and Adlyn Steffans. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbert J. Capello; parents, Richard P. Chachati and Marie Gagliano Chachati; brothers, Philip G. Chachati, Matthew J. Chachati, and Victor N. Chachati and daughter, Tammy M. Capello. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 818 W 10th St, Donaldsonville, LA 70346, from 9 am until mass of Christian burial at 11 am. Marie will be laid to rest at Ascension of Our Lords Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home.
