Our dear mother passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on February 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. LA.
Born February 26, 1926 in St. Gabriel, LA, she was a homemaker and long time resident of Dutchtown, LA.
She is survived by her daughter Gwen Landry of Dutchtown, two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn Landry (Janis) of Slaughter, LA., and Lloyd “Pinky” Landry (Stephanie) of Dutchtown, six grandchildren, Dustin Landry (Cathy) of Gonzales, Christopher Landry of Houston, TX., Eric Landry (Cadi) of Newport, TN., Adrienne Landry of Billings, MT., Aaron Landry (Evanna) of Central, LA., and Alana Landry of Slaughter. Also survived by five great grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, and Hannah Landry of Newport, TN., and Link and Adley Landry of Gonzales, LA. And one great great grandchild, Ryder Lynn Landry of Newport, TN., and a sister, Laura Jean Hope of Metairie, LA.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lucian Landry, and her parents, George Cambre and Edna Hoffman, ten sisters and two brothers.
Pallbearers are: Eric Landry, Dustin Landry, Christopher Landry, Aaron Landry, James Pouncey, Jr., and Patrick “Pat” Arceneaux.
Visitation will begin at 9:45 am on Friday, March 6, at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, LA., until Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 followed by burial at Prairieville Cemetery.
