Margaret Baylis Adams passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 91. She was a longtime resident of Norco, Louisiana and has resided for the last few years in Gonzales with her daughter. She has now rejoined her late husband, Stanley Henry Adams, in their heavenly home. She is survived by her loving daughter Mary Adams Jacob and her husband Robert “Butch” Jacob Jr. She was fondly known as MawMaw to her grandchildren Brandon C. Jacob (Melissa “Missy”), Grant M. Jacob (Courtney) and Lindsay Jacob McCreary (Drew) and her great-grandchildren Kane Jacob, Remy Jacob, Mason McCreary, Evie Jacob and Taylor McCreary. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Patsy Baylis. She is preceded in death by her brother Clifford G. Baylis Jr. and their parents Clifford and Mary Baylis.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She truly loved taking care of her family day in and day out. She and her husband used to always enjoy going to their camp in Bay St. Louis and visiting her relatives from Mississippi. Margaret enjoyed the simple things that life had to offer. You could often find her reading her books, her peaceful time. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Ascension Oaks Nursing Home for the care and compassion that they have shown Mrs. Margaret over the past years.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 beginning at 10:00am, a Prayer Service will be held at 12 noon.
