Larry Dale Johnson

Larry Dale Johnson passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Prairieville, LA. Larry enjoyed going to car shows and he loved his 1955 Chevy. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Powell (John); 7 grandchildren; brother, William Johnson (Ann); nieces, Sondra Elkins and Barbara Gresham; and various great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy Johnson and Violet James Johnson; brothers, Jackie Evans and Paul Evans.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Ourso Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. to be followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. The Johnson family would like to thank Clint Broussard for being a great friend and being there for Larry when needed.
