Keith "Cowboy" Dornier

Keith "Cowboy" Dornier, age 61, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017. He was born January 13, 1956 and was a native of Union, LA. He graduated from Ascension Catholic High School and worked as a welder until retiring. He and his family have been residents of Galvez, LA for the last 36 years. Keith is survived by his wife, Christine Boltin Dornier; children, Crystal, Anthony and Rebecca Dornier; daughter-in-law, Anna Tupaz Dornier; grandchildren, Lucas and Isabella Dornier; sister, Natalie Dornier Hawthorne, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved horse, "Peppy Cool." He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond, Sr. and Alice Joy Rusha Dornier; brother, Raymond Dornier, Jr. and sister, Brenda Dornier Black. Keith will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Pallbearers will be Anthony Dornier, Joseph Dornier, Michael Dornier, Johnnie Duhon, Rob Boltin and Jay Boltin. Honorary pallbearer to be Lucas Dornier. Visitation to be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA, on Thursday, 9/14/17 from 5:00-8:00pm and at St. Mark Catholic Church, 42021 Hwy. 621, on Friday, 9/15/17 from 9:00-11:00am, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will take place at Cornerview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital (www.stjude.org/give.html) or The Carpenter House (www.stjosephhospicefoundation.org) in Baton Rouge.
