Jeanette St. Pierre Guillaume, 90, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away on October 17th, 2024. She was born in Remy, Louisiana on November 20th, 1933 and married Alvin “Al” Guillaume on October 23rd, 1960.
Jeanette was a loving mother, grandmother and house wife. She enjoyed playing bourre, dancing, going to the casino and cooking and baking.
She was always dolled up and loved having her hair and nails done.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Cynthia Guilllaume Babin, Suzanne Laiche Hughes (Jack), Johnny Laiche (Debbie), Marty Laiche (Margie) and Tim Guillaume (Mikki); nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Guillaume; stepson, Kenny Guillaume; father Aramist St. Pierre; mother Louviana St. Pierre; three brothers; two sisters and grandson Jordan Laiche.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her niece and Godchild, Barbara H. Melancon, her caregivers, Hazel Auguillard and Jeanette Comb at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. Also a special thanks to Ashley and Christy.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana, 70737. Visitation will resume on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Holy Rosary from 9:00am to 11:00am. Mass will begin at 11:00am with a committal service to follow.
