Jason Richard Rodrigue

A resident of Walker, he passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 unexpectedly at the age of 36. He was a "jack of all trades", but worked in construction installing windows and flooring. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 9 am until a memorial service at 11 am, followed by a private burial. He leaves behind his two young daughters, Hailey and Lauren Rodrigue; father and step-mother, Richard Rodrigue and Mary Tullier Rodrigue; sister, Jennifer Lovell and husband, Nathan; brother, Cory Landry and wife Terrin; cousin, Sunny Martin; nephew, Logan Lovell; niece, Delainey Barker-Thomas; and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Young Rodrigue; and his grandparents, Ogden and Alpha Rodrigue and Walter and Grace Young. Jason was a member of the Salvation Army where he shared his talents to help others. He enjoyed playing music and loved having his family and friends around him. He touched so many in his short life and will truly be missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Salvation Army, 4526 S.
