Guy L. Chadwick Sr. a native of New Orleans, La and resident of Denham Springs, La passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the age of 70, surrounded by his wife and children. Mr. Chadwick was a hard worker his entire life. He started out at his father’s Texaco gas station. He was a truck driver for Southeastern Motor freight. He then went to work for his in law’s family business which was passed down to him and his wife for many years. Then he proceeded his last years as a car salesman at Gerry Lane, where he shared his passion for his job with many people and touched many people. He will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed taking care of his fur babies, loved fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Jeannine Skalos Chadwick; daughters, Christie Rose Chadwick, Cheree Chadwick Creel and husband Dustin, Candie Chadwick Romano and husband Tony; son, Guy L. Chadwick II and wife Leslie; and grandchildren, Kreig Chadwick and wife Kristen, Lanie, Gabby, Rylie, and Bryson; great-grandchild, Karena; step-grandchildren, Lance Romano and wife Casey, Caitlin Romano Von Wolff and husband Louis, and Bethany Romano; step great grandchildren, Aubree, Addy, and Bowie. Also survived by his mother, Lois Allen Chadwick and sisters, Pat and Delores. He was preceded in death by his father, Thairon Lavell Chadwick; Paternal grandparents, Hiram John Chadwick and Coley Etta Thigpen; Maternal grandparents, Hubert Laah Allen, and Mary MW Allen. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, La. on Friday, Nov 4, 2022 from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Saturday, Nov 5, 2022 at 9 am until funeral service at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Prairieville, La. Master pallbearer will be Guy L. Chadwick II. Pallbearers to follow are Tony Romano, Dustin Creel, Kreig Chadwick, Ronald Chadwick, Shane Glaser, and Chris Glaser.
