Evelyn Achord LeSaicherre Clark

She is survived by her four children: Kathy LeSaicherre-Conerly (Brent), Kerry LeSaicherre (Fiancé Robyn Cannon), Donna LeSaicherre- Jones (Tim) and Danette LeSaicherre Daigle, as well as her sister Jeanell Achord Duplessis, sister-in-law Glory Achord and her grandchildren; Noelle Teement (Matt), Lauren Conerly, Sean Conerly, Jessica LeSaicherre (Carl), Randi Yarnall (Michael), Robye Forrest (Tommy), Kristin Daigle, Kiera Conzonire (Nick) and Daniel Daigle and her great grandchildren; Bradon Wilson, Elliot Teemant, Caitlin Teement, Avamarie Dieutto, Blair Dieutto, Emerson Dieutto, Siegen Dieutto, Gannon Jacobson, Rilye Herdering, Enzo Yarnall, Felicity Yarnall, Adalyn Daigle, Cruz Conzonire and Quinn Conzonire. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, SL Clark, her parents, Clyde Achord and Clemence (Clay) Bercegeay Achord, her siblings Thomas Achord, Belva Achord Galloway and Ethelyn Achord Baham. As a Title Clerk, she worked and retired from Capital Mac GMC of Baton Rouge.

She loved sitting on her front porch, enjoying her flowers, and watching the hummingbirds frolic back and forth to her bird feeders. She will also be remembered for her previous work as a member and former President of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 3693 and substitute teacher at St. Theresa of Avila, both in Gonzales, LA. The family extends their gratitude to the nurses and aides at GHC, especially to those that Ms. Evelyn loved so much; thank you for the great care given to her throughout her extended illness. In addition, their heartfelt thanks to Bridgeway Hospice for their kindness and unselfish compassionate care. The family is forever grateful. Family and friends are invited to attend a Night Wake at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5pm till 7pm. The visitation will continue on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 9AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11AM. The interment will follow at Prairieville Community Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Kerry LeSaicherre, Brent Conerly, Tommy Forrest, Daniel Daigle, Sean Conerly and Tim Jones and honorary pallbearer Brent Barnett.
