David Paul Mire

David Paul Mire passed away surrounded by his family on December 21, 2024 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Linda Goff Mire; his children, Troy Mire (Kim) and Courtney Klack (Slade); his grandchildren, Kaysie Mire, Claire Toledo and Tatum Mire and his great-grandchild Persephone. He is also survived by his mother Mary Mire and his siblings, Deborah Lebeau, Nancy Lanoux (Sam), Becky Daigle (Ralph), Sue Oschwald (John), Jennifer Rome (Tony) and Todd Mire (Jeanne). He was preceded in death by his father Travis Mire.

David loved being outdoors, whether he was tending to his yard or out on the water enjoying a fishing trip. He loved watching LSU sports, especially football and baseball. David was somebody that seemed to know everybody, he made friends everywhere he went. Above all he loved spending time with his family. His great cooking skills and warm smile will truly be missed by all of those that knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for David on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 15208 Highway 73, Prairieville, Louisiana 70769. The burial will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum in Prairieville. There will be a reception to follow in the church hall.
