Myrna Evelyn Njos

Myrna Evelyn Njos, age 79, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 8, 2019. Myrna lived life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed many things such as going to the lake, camping, and spending time in the motorhome. For 59 years, wherever Myrna was, you were sure to find Ken there with her. For 16 years she spent her time taking care of children at an at home daycare, which she generously ran out of her own home. Every child was welcomed and treated as her own. Myrna and her loving husband also ran a successful soft drink and beverage remanufacturing company out of their home. She was beloved wherever she went. She will be greatly missed and dearly remembered. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alec and Evelyn Anderson, brothers Rodney and Roger Anderson, sister’s Kathy Cordahl and Linda Groth. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Kenneth Njos, sister Judy Myers, children Meri (Brian) Custard, Barbara (Steve) Boudouris, Brenda (Scott) Yonke, grandchildren Brian King, Jeremy Custard, Laura (Adam) Raske, Julie (Micah) Reiffenberger, Kenneth Custard, Dan Gefre, Zachary Yonke, Evelyn Yonke,

great grandchildren Trystan and Nolan King, Jayla and Jareem Patterson, and Ruthie Raske.

A memorial service will be held at Roots and Branches (formerly Northern Light Church) at 521 Johnson Street, Anoka, MN 55303 on October 19,2019. Visitation starts at 1pm with a memorial service at 2pm. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
