Boyd Sneddon

January 1, 1931 – September 20, 2018

Boyd M. Sneddon Sr. died on September 20, 2018. He is survived by Patti, his wife of 64+ years and his six children, Boyd (Dana) Sneddon, Sue Sneddon, Cindy Sneddon, Joe (Char) Sneddon, Stuart Sneddon and Christopher (Connie) Sneddon; 7 grandchildren, Kelsey and Riley Sneddon (mom, Linda Siddall), Maeve Sneddon, Ethan Sneddon, Amelia Sneddon, Kevin Sneddon and Katherine Sneddon. Also his sister Joan Beachler and her son Kelly Beachler.

Boyd was born in Kemmerer, Wyoming, served in the Navy during the Korean War and gained his Master’s Degree from the University of Wyoming. He spent his entire stellar career at General Mills for 35 + years. He is remembered as the best husband, dad and grandpa. He was a #1 loyal fan of all MN sports, especially the Vikings and Twins. He was a great family man and loved his career at General Milles – he enjoyed his Cheerios for breakfast every day.

Private services were held through the Neptune Society and Boyd will be buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Assembly Area #2.
