Tia Rosa, 

I will never forget the times you were there for my mom and I. You took care of me and the love you had for me, my brother and my cousins was so unconditional. We were always sad to leave your house. As time went on we saw less of you but you were always on our minds and in hearts. I hope you find the peace you longed for in life. Please give a big hug and kiss to my Abuilita, Tio Arturo, and Leonel. The absence of you four will be a void that can never be filled but I take solace in the fact that you are all together watching over our family. 

In memory of my Tia Rosa, all I know is she loves her kids and gave them undivided attention to succeed and I recognized that as a little kid cause I received the same for the short time i was with her and my primos and All I know is that she did her best to give her babies everything . Love you Tia Rosa.

Rosa, Mom…You have taken your next step to a beautiful journey.  Although I cannot see where you are, I understand you were only a gift to cherish for as long  as God allowed.  I was fortunate enough to borrow your time and love as my mother.  I’ll always carry you in thought and most importantly in prayer.  Without you I would be half the man I am today.  Rest assured, you started some truly special, your charisma, your warmth and your desire for happiness is something that was contagious.  Your ability to listen more than you spoke was something I admired most, taught me patience and humbleness.   I’ll miss my stomach hurting from laughing together and all those memories that we all shared with family, friends and the care you gave your grandchildren.  With sincerest love, your Carlitos. p.s. My mom would always call me Estephanie, I think she either wanted a girl, but I doubt it since she already had Anna, or I guess my mom maybe dissociated her own chaotic life by labeling me as her persona? and making me her partner in her capitalistic schemes because I was her only roomate for long periods of time. Very complex, I guess it worked though because every Sunday morning after church people would give her $$ and she would rack in the dough. I still remember her emptying out her purse and counting it. 300... 400$ Those days were the best looking back. :O After that I knew we were having Papa Johns pizza and it always hit the spot. Thanks for the pizza Sundays mom. Rest in Peace. ~~~'~,~(@

I remember my grandma as a very nice and funny person. I also remember her always smelling like lavender when I would hug her.

For my dad's birthday we saw Grandma at his uncle's house, and I remember seeing Grandma laughing hysterically, having a good time. Her laugh was so beautiful and genuine. I will miss you Grandma love Alexander.

Dear cousins Anita, Carlos, and Esteban,
Though my memories of mi Tia Rosa are too few and far between...I do have to say, I will always remember her kindness, her sense of humor, but most importantly the deep love she had for her children. She loved the best way she knew how...and it's evident to see the results in all of you. Anita, you have always displayed that same fierce, loyal love, not only to your mom but to others as well. It is my hope to one day see my Tia Rosa again, along with other loved ones that have fallen asleep in death and are no longer suffering. (John 11:11-14) My condolences are with all of you. I have included these beautiful scriptures, that give a real hope for the future and a beautiful promise from God himself.
I hope they bring you a measure of comfort as it has to me during this difficult time.

My Beautiful sister
Strong in so many ways!
Still remember the day she showed me how to drive and found me my first Job  showed me not to be scared..  
I STILL hear her voice  saying  Las Quiero Mucho .  Precious moments that will alway be in our hearts. Another piece of our Mother has left us . One more Angel watching over us. My heart is broken once again ,  no more pain My Beautiful sister no more sadness I know you are  in God's hand .

I’m so very thankful I was able to see and hug my Tia recently.  Even though I’m not near the family often enough, every time my tia greeted me with a smile and a hug. 

To my cousins my sincerest sympathies, it is definitely not easy losing a parent. The words of our loved ones while sincere and lovely, aren’t ever enough to ease the pain. So I wish you healing and faith to know that they’re in a better place. 

Every time I spoke with my sister Rosa, she always had good advice, a compliment, and a funny tale. Our conversation always ended in a happy and loving way with a, "Que dios te vendiga", and "Te quiero mucho".  I will always remember her surprised, "Hola mija" when I would pass by  her church in Huntington Park during my lunch time.  I truly treasure those short encounters, they always made my days better; I miss her,  her kind words, and her wittiness. I love her profoundly and eternally. Que dios te tenga en su Santa Gloria.

Recuerdo el lindo abrazo que nos regalamos en Abril cuando me visitaron en Murrieta.  Ese momento esta cellado en mi corazon. "Te quiero mucho hermana me susurraste en mi oido".  Todavia tu voz vibra en mis oidos . ❤️

I would like to share that  my brothers and I were very blessed to have an amazing and  a loving mom . We will miss her so much she was our  rock and best friend. Hugs  Mami we know your  an Angel with God and watching us.
