Ronald was born in Alliance, Ohio, on January 29, 1933, the only child to
John Arthur Bradshaw and Huldah Auretta Lee Bradshaw.
The family moved to California in 1947,
settling in Arcadia then Covina.
Ronald was a 1950 graduate of Covina High School.
He met his love at church, marrying Donna in 1953.
Ronald served in the United States Air Force as a personnel specialist in Illinois from 1953-1957. He attended several colleges, ultimately earning a Bachelors of Science degree from Washington University.
The young family of 4 returned from Illinois to settle in Covina, adding a son, and later buying new homes in La Verne and Rancho Cucamonga.
Ronald loved history! He was a member of the Covina
Historical Society as well as a volunteer with
Etiwanda Historical Society and Friends of the Library.
Ronald earned a private pilot license,
taking his young children on some bumpy landings!
Ronald held many jobs with the last being with Equifax and CNA insurance.
Ronald and Donna traveled the world, but missed one US state.
A portion of his ashes will be left in Maine at a later date.
Ronald is survived by his daughter Sue (Perry) Kremer,
grandson Jesse Bradshaw, granddaughters Desirae McCutchen,
Lisa, Amy and Melissa Kremer, great grandson Michael Bradshaw,
brother in law Douglas (Jacquie) Moody,
niece Jenifer (Graham) Badry and nephew Darren Moody.
His adopted daughters, Brigitte Bartels-Hafner (Germany) and Merete Madsen (Denmark) and their children mourn his passing.
Ronald was predeceased by his love, Donna in 2019
and their sons Jeffrey in 2017 and Craig in 1992.
Pops will be remembered for his sharp wit, his Hawaiian shirts and his endless stories.
“And so on and so forth” as he would say.
