Joyce and her late husband Jerry were residents of Glendora, CA for 56 years.
She was born on June 27, 1929 in Meriden, CT to the late Raymond and Mable Messner. She moved to
California in 1964 where she met her husband Jerry. They were married on May 13, 1967.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, parents Raymond and Mable, brother James, sister Barbara, son Jerry, son-in-law Ronald Conley, Granddaughter Kimberly Evangelista, and Great Granddaughter Amber Conley.
She is survived by son James (Kathy) Sutterlin of Johnson City, TN, daughters: Jill (Mike) Barrios of El Monte, CA; Robin (Larry) Evangelista of Azusa, CA; Barbara Conley of Glendora, CA; Mary (Dennis) Griffin of Azusa, CA. and Daughter-in-law Sue LaRoche of Port Orford, OR. 19 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, 24 Great Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews.
Joyce loved crocheting, camping, crafts, and bunko. She was a happy, outgoing person. Family was the world to her. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Due to the CoronaVirus, services will be outside at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, CA. Viewing is Thursday, November 5th at 3:00pm. Services are Friday, November 6th at 11:00am.
