Dear Joe, 
It has taken me some time to get over the numbness of  the call that I received that you had passed, It still does not seem real to me, even after going to your services. However I know you are with your beloved wife, my sister Peggy Jo and you are smiling down at your Children and Grandkids. I just want to say thank you for always opening your home to us anytime we came to down, but most of all i will miss how you always asked about Jacoby and his sports, When i saw you last you told me you loved to see the picture I post of Jacoby Playing ball or football, I also will remember you always telling us to come and stay at your house we can just pitch tents in the back yard, Well that would have been fun, but never took you up on that offer.  Joe I want you to know that you and Peggy have raised 3 amazing kids and they will carry that love onto  their kids your grandkids, I will miss your phone calls for my birthday or me calling you just to see how you are doing.  But you know I will always be here for your kids and grandkids anytime they need me. 
I will miss you very much and honestly my heart still hurts from haning out with you one week and the call the next, 
R.I.P Joe and give Peggy a big hug from me.

Thank you for always being a great neighbor, friend and awesome father figure in my sons life.   You and Peggy both always welcomed weepee into your home, loved him and treated him as one of your own and this meant so much to us.  I will miss seeing you out in the front yard, sitting on the tailgate of your truck.   Rest In Peace neighbor...  I am sure Peggy has welcomed you with open arms in Paradise....

Dear Joe,  Thank you for always making me and my boys feel welcome when we would come down and invade your house. I always looked forward to my visits.  Although Peggy and I would get a chuckle over the fact that she had to clean the house to pass the white glove test. 😊  Thank you for giving Chris a place where he could call home and being a good friend and uncle to him. I will miss sitting around the kitchen table having coffee and chatting. 
I have so missed the sparring between you and Peggy and watching her roll her eyes at you all the time and sigh.. or hearing you call out Peggy Jo..
But who could forget when Minnie Mouse tried to pick up on you at Disneyland that fun day in October. 
 I know that it has not been easy for you since Peggy left us  although you will miss your kids and grandkids you are now happy and free of the daily challenges. You have raised good strong kids and you should be proud of the adults that they have become. We may not live 5-10 minutes away but we are here for the kids and grandkids no matter what they need. I know that you have already filled the heavenly family in on the grandchildren as only you can tell the story.  Love you, thank you for everything.

Dearest Uncle Joe,
Thank you for the memories, laughter, kindness, and generosity you have shared with all of us over the years.  You always opened your heart and home to all you knew and treated everyone like family.  Most of all, thank you for always treating our AJ as if he was one of your grandchildren too.  I’ll never forget how you always offered to have him stay with you over the summers when he was old enough :). What an honor it was (and still is) for your kids and grandchildren to call you their father and grandfather.  You are the epitome of a man who lived a beautiful life and always displayed love with quick whit and a sharp sense of humor.  We’ll definitely miss the jokes but the stories will live on in infamy!  Have fun with Aunt Peggy up there and you two love birds try to stay out of trouble behind those pearly gates lol.  This isn’t goodbye, just a ‘see ya later!’  We’ll miss you, old man!  

Joe it is so hard to believe that you are no longer here. I had just talked to you and you gave me inspirational words. I will miss my visits with you when I am coming or going.  To My Nephew and Nieces My Heart goes out to you all. No words can express the hell you are going through. I Love You and May God Bless You All At This Time.
