Mom,
I am missing you.  I love you and I thank God for giving me such a great mom who loved me and loved our family.  You have given me so many great memories that I will cherish.  Love you, Linda

My Grandma was a grandma of grandmas. She made the very best homecooked meals that.  She did arts and crafts with me as a child when she babysat me. And she would stay up late and gamble with me when we went to Laughlin as an adult. She loved her family very much. I loved her and will always miss her. I am so thankful to have had such a wonderful grandma.

On Christmas Eve 2021 we were making some last minute tamales and I was clearly struggling with spreading masa on husks. She told me "Daniel, try spreading with a spoon" She picked up a husk and spoon and showed me how it was done.  She was always teaching. And always loving. I will miss you Grandma.  

Words cannot express the sorrow and sadness we feel at the loss of your Wife, a mother, a Grand Mother, and a sister.  Anna was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Please accept our condolences and know that we are thinking of you and the family.

I miss you every day. I hear your laugh, feel your hugs, and your hands holding mine, how you’d make me sit on your lap, our in n out dates. I loved that. I know you’re watching over all of us. I can’t even imagine seeing our family and you not being there. I cry every day. Give nana a big hug and kiss for me. I miss you both so much. 

Grandma, it's hard to believe you are gone. A thought came to me today that I wanted to call you, then I realized I can never do that again.  Although I miss you greatly , I know you were ready to join the Lord. I will miss our many shopping trips together (Kohl's will forever remind me of you) and having dinner afterward.  Olive Garden soon became one of your favorites! I know you especially enjoyed those times because you didn't have to cook dinner at home, haha.  I love you so much Grandma and I hope you're dancing in heaven!

One of my most cherished memories of Grandma happened at my dad's house.  We were celebrating Grandpa's 90th birthday.  As a special surprise the family got mariachis to play after dinner.  When Sabor a Mi started playing, Grandpa got up from his chair and asked Grandma if she wanted to dance.  Her cane was close by but she didn't use it.    Side by side they danced but not for very long.  She smiled like she was dancing at any other time in her life, but I could tell her body would not move like she wanted it to.   This last dance was a special gift.  

You had something very special. You touched my life in a very special way with your gentleness and sweet smile. I'm so blessed that I got to know you. Rest in Peace Anna.

Mom, This is a very difficult time for me, as well as our whole family. It's not easy to not see  you at home anymore. I'll miss you, your voice, your smile, and your loving presence. I already miss you! I know you had a very difficult time over the last couple of years, I'm sorry for that. Real tough!
But now I know you're resting, and you're with my brother Pat (that's what I called him). I'll never forget you mom, I love you so much, so just rest peacefully, you deserve that.

Grandma,
I still have a hard time believing you're gone. My heart is broken. Life will never be the same without you here. The memories I have are all so wonderful and I'm glad I got to have you for the time I did. I'm being selfish, I know. But for a little while, you were mine and only mine and the bond I had with you was so beautiful and unique. You are loved by so many and this world has lost a truly wonderful lady. I love you endlessly and I hope you are in heaven... and "walking on air"...(Something she said once and made everyone laugh really hard.... just how she used to dance). Grandma, the memories you gave me I will always cherish... I can still hear your laugh. You are missed and will forever be a legacy. When I heard you passed away I cried because I didn’t get to say goodbye... as I was thinking that I heard you say, “bye meja”
