Thinking about you today, Mr. C. I've been missing your annual holiday cards.

I had the pleasure of being in the Direction of Mr Carlson’s Choir Assemble Throughout my High School years of 94/98 at GGHS and having the opportunity to not only sing at the Crystal Cathedral during baccalaureate and having to sing throughout my high school education I always considered him a mentor and a positive role model he will be truly missed but  always have a special place in my heart to allow me to a gifted & express myself through music till we meet again. R.I.P 

Mr. Carlson  left such a mark on my life. He was always honest with you and encouraged growth and that whether you had natural talent or not, he helped build your skills to be just as good. I got to know him as a friend after graduation and his passions for life outside of acadamia,  whether learning to fly, spending time with family,  or dedicating his life to his church's music program, Mr. Carlson loved what he did and the people he did it with. His legacy will last not only with those that caled him family, or friend, but the countless generations that called him mentor, teacher, and guide. You will be missed.

Mr. Carlson was a fixture of my time at GGHS. He taught Spanish and music, and helped me endure High School with good humor and wit. Thank you for being there, and peace to your family and loved ones!

 Was my choir Teacher for all 4 years of my High school days . He was such an AMAZING Teacher he made music Fun .
He always made us laugh . He sure will be missed by many.  I was class of 1997 . 
My prayers are with you all . May he rest in peace.

Mr. Carlson was the most wonderful teacher I ever had.  He was a surrogate father to me in high school.  He encouraged me to always be myself. Because of his encouragement and training he gave me a beautiful singing voice. He chose me as a soloist for many songs throughout all of my high school years.  We had kept in touch annually by exchanging holiday cards. In many of those cards he told me I was one of his favorite students. My heart will miss him. 
I wish his family and friends peace. May our memories of him bring us all comfort during this sad time.
