81, of Peoria passed away on June 23, 2013. Phil was a graduate of Case Institute of Technology where he graduated top of his class with honors in 1954.He excelled in electrical engineering and worked for Goodyear Aerospace Corporation for 35 yrs. He was at the forefront of radar communication and satellite system development and covert defense tactics. He developed many technologically advanced systems used by the military for this nations defense. He was an active member of the Church of Christ Valley Congregation in Phoenix and in Prescott He is survived by his beloved wife Joan of 61 years and their only daughter Susan A Celebration of the Life of Phil Murray Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 20 at 11 am at the West Resthaven Cemetary and Funeral home 6450 W.Northern Ave Phoenix In lieu of flowers, Donations to Hospice of the Valley are preferred
