Originally born in Germany on September 25, 1933, Marianne migrated to North Dakota, becoming a permanent resident of the United States in 1962. It was here where she met and married her husband, Eugene Rettler, and gave birth to her daughter, Melanie, and her son, Michael. Marianne and her family eventually relocated to Arizona, where she continued to raise her children and work as a tailer until her retirement.
Marianne was always known to be high-spirited, generous, hard-working, and had a smile that could light up a room. She enjoyed being social, attending to her many animals on her farm, and spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her two children and her two grandchildren, Meghan and Bailee Rettler, all whom live in Arizona, and brought a significant amount of joy to her later years.
The Chapel of Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale, has been entrusted with arrangements.
