John D. Torrez Sr., (71) of Glendale, Arizona passed away on October 19, 2018. He was born in Capitan, New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife Doris of 30 years, mother Lugardita Miller of Roswell, NM, his daughter Monica (Paul) Rodriguez of Oceanside, CA, step-children Vanessa Martinez of Surprise, AZ and Jay (Jessica) Martinez of Goodyear, AZ., his siblings, Theresa Mendoza of Roswell, NM and Anna Gustamantes of Mesa, AZ and seven grandchildren. A numerous amount of family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Miguel Torrez, brother Macario Lueras and son Steven Torrez.

John enjoyed watching NFL and was an avid Arizona Cardinals fan. He watched NASCAR, he also enjoyed the occasional visit to the casino and traveling with his wife.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 10:00AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale, AZ.
