To Angie Hernandez and family,

We just received word that Inez has passed away and regret that we did not have the opportunity to pay our respects to such a Great Man.  We offer our prayers and condolences to all of the Hernandez family.  Inea will be sadly missed but we can rejoice that he is now a member of Heavens "Guard of Honor".  Farewell, Airborne Brother.

Sorry this is late, but I just found out about Inez's passing.  What a great friend/co-worker he was.  I did not know his nickname was "spud" though! Love it!  We called him "Nezzer".  He was always a joy to work with...always a smile on his face and kind words to and about everyone.  My condolences to all the family and especially to Andy.  Andy is a testament to what a great father Inez was. I believe he walks in his father's footsteps.

My heart goes out to the Hernandez family.  Mr. Hernandez was such an amazing person.  He and Mrs. Hernandez always made me and my family feel so welcomed.  He was always loving and giving to everyone.  I am so thankful to have known him for so many years.  He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.  Our thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Hernandez, Patsy, Nancy, Terri and Joe, Andy and Becky, my dear friend Rebecca and the rest of the family.

Inez was a Paratrooper's Paratrooper. He had a quiet strength about him tinged with a wonderful sense of humor. All of us in the Phoenix 82nd Airborne Chapter will remember his 20-plus years as our Chaplain and the many contributions he and Angie have provided to our Chapter. All The Way, Inez!

I was fortunate to work with Inez for 21 years. He very rarely talked about his military career but when he did I knew he was a silent HERO. He was the same at work. He was my Hero and I learned so much from him just by his actions. He treated everyone equal and that is a quality that is hard to come by.
