My brother George was a wonderful brother.  I always looked up to him.  When we were kids and our father took ill in 1970, George was just a teenager but he took charge and helped Mom run the household and helped with the finances.  No complaints, he just did what he thought was the responsible thing to do.  All the while maintaining Honor Roll status and only missing one day of school all 4 years while at Glendale High School.  He loved school.  He worked for the Maricopa County Assessor's Office as a residential and commercial property appraiser for about 36 years.  He made alot of good friends there, had some funny stories about when he would go out to post.  Thank you to his friends who attended his funeral, that meant so much and if I can hear from you please contact me. George was involved with Boys Scouts for alot of years, loved cars, was interested in everything!  Most of all, George loved his family and extended family members.  Like with our Dad, you are in my heart always, you are not gone just in another place and now I can talk to you everyday and I know you can hear me.  Love, Vicky

I worked with George in the Treasure's office for several years and it was some of the best times I have had. He has always been in my thoughts and now my thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.

George was an amazing man.  He was my Dad's childhood friend, turned into family friend. He has always been a man to lend a helping hand.  He was always mindful of my well-being as a kid, teenager & adult.  I will miss him greatly.

To all of the Sifuentes family, I send my condolences.  He was a dear friend of mine since grade school.  I will always remember the good times we had and conversations with him. I didn't see him often in our adult years but when I did we always remembered the good old days.  May God be with you during time of sorrow.

I remember the first time I meet George it was at a Checkers of course. I just had brought some new auto parts and was talking to a friend in line about where I should take my vehicle to get the work done. George who I didn't know at the time was in line too and offered to  do the work. I kinda was puzzeled cause I didn't know him and he was offering to work on my car. Then George takes one good look at me and says you can trust me I bet I know your dad or mom. Long story short he did end up knowing my dad turns out they went to Glendale high school to gather and George became our family mechanic and he did realy good work and will be missed not only as a mechanic but as a friend. Rest in peace George and my condolences to his wife and family my prayers are with you.

It greatly saddens me to learn of George passing away this week.  I always followed my brother Manuel to George's house by Unit 2.  George always treated me as a younger brother. We had lots of great friends at Glendale High as well.  George, You are greatly missed.  May God bless you and your family.

My brother Juan called me today to inform me of George's death. I was shocked to hear such sad news.  When I got home, I pulled out our 8th grade class picture (Mr. Sing) from Issac E. Imes (Class of 1967) and saw the faces of our classmates. George was a special friend to many of us.  I also have a special picture of George, Benny Ramos, Jesse Rodriguez, Ray Pacheco and myself on the Imes basketball court where we spent numerous hours playing ball.  We all had great times at Glendale High and GCC. I am very honored to have been his friend.

I was shocked and extremly sad when I heard. I remember our talks we would have and how you reminded me of my father. You helped me through some rough times my friend and would always welcome me into your home. I will miss you "POPS".. This is not goodbye, but  a see you later because we will meet again one day my friend. Take care Pops..FRANKIE FUENTES

George is a great friend and neighbor, we had alot of good times together even as young boy's, he was a very creative person that taught me alot while working together at Little Boy Blue. My thoughts and prayers will always be with George and his family, God Bless you my friend, Love you guy!

George was a great friend at Isaac E. Imes and Glendale High. He loved baseball and working on cars. My prayers are for all of you who were fortunate to be related to him and to have worked alongside him.

I would have to say that George's love for his grand children was remarkable & beautiful to witness. He also knew how blessed he was to have the steadfast love of Mona (even though he knew he could be difficult at times). "George, you didn't get as many years as you would have liked, but you were much loved by others & you were given time to express your love. You still experienced the very best that Life can offer. You done well, Pal. Thanks for the memories. Soar with the Eagles."

In the short time I have known him George has become a dear friend and brother-in-law.  He is a great example of how to endure through difficulties with dignity and grace.  God bless you George. You will remain forever in our hearts.

Hor Hay, as I use to call you, I will miss you.  Your great stories growing up at home will be in my memories forever.  Mona, you did a great job taking care of George.

George was always like a brother to me when we worked together in the downtown office.  We would go out to eat and once we took his granddaughter to Christmas Lights at the Zoo.  He helped me so many times through some difficult times for both of us. He was a very sweet and caring friend.  You will be missed my dear friend.

George was a wonderful friend who I enjoyed working with at the Bethany Home and Avondale office.  We had lunch together often and had lots of laughs.  My special memory was when he attended my son Andy's graduation from ASU West.

George has been a great friend and coworker to my family since I first met him at the downtown office and then at bethany home rd and Avondale. He was a joy to all of us!

George and I often ate lunch together, talked about cars and life.  When I had a big accident, it was George who most often came by to check up on me. I enjoyed the time God gave us.  May God grant his soul rest.

I first met George at the Bethany Home Assessor's Office.  We became good friends.  I introduced him to my son and they hit it off immediately, talking about cars of course.  I am glad to have known George and I will miss him dearly.  I know now that we have an Angel watching over all of us.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

To the sifuentes family, it was great working with George here at the Assessors office.  Always a kind and honest man,  always helpful to me.  I will always remember you my friend now rest in peace.

I will always remember George for accepting me as part as his family. I have alot of great memories because of him. From shooting guns in the desert to rebuilding an engine for my truck. George was more than a brother in law, he was a true friend.    Lester
