Genevieve Rose Immel

Genevieve Rose Immel, 86, of Glendale, AZ passed away peaceful . Genevieve was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to Lester & Mabel (Higgins) Kunaschk. On June 6, 1953 she married LaVerne A Immel in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. In the late 1950's the couple moved to Arizona and in 1964 were blessed with a son, Edward A. Immel.

Genny worked at Upton’s Restaurant and was an excellent waitress for 15+ years and later worked in retail sales at a Gift Shop at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. She had a passion for people and enjoyed dancing and singing.

Genny is survived by her sister Delores M. Giuntoli; Ken Schaaf; nieces Diana, Linda, Debbie, JoAnn; nephew John; numerous extended nieces and nephews; cousins Eddie, Penny, Gus, Keri, Gordon, Sandy, Donald, Dorothy, extended cousins and several friends.

Genny was preceded by her husband, LaVerne : son Edward , parents Lester and Mabel Kunaschk, sister, Loretta Schultz, and companion of 24 years Robert J Kainec.

We will miss her kind, gentle, fun, and loving personality.
