Dorothy Dean Ward transitioned to Heaven on January 19th, 2019. Dorothy was born Dorothy Dean Hawkins on April 17th, 1942 in Holts Summit, MO to Floyd and Mary Hawkins. The family moved to Kansas City, MO where she graduated from Central High School.
Dorothy married twice, bringing 4 children into the world, Michael Lopez, Jr., Paul Lopez, Gino Lopez and Beverly Ward IV. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in transition by her sister Barbara Ward, brother Emmitt Hawkins and survived by her sister, Leola Fier of Glendale, AZ.
A celebration of Mary and her life will be held Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at 1 PM at Watkins Brothers Memorial Chapel, 4000 Cleaver II Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64130
