David Keith Sittner

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, son David Jr. (Patti), granddaughter Leela. Brothers: Alvin (Rose) Oceanside CA, John (Nancy) and Donald (Jeanette) Billings MT Sisters: Lola Munro Reeder, ND, Emma Melling and Cindy Abrahamson Hettinger, ND, Charlotte (Raymond) Corcoran Billings MT. Nieces, nephews and cousins.

David is predeceased by parents Emil and Christine, son Jeremiah, sisters Phyllis and Betty, brothers in law Donald Melling, Phil Munro, and Ronnie Abrahamson,and nephew John Munro.

After graduating high school, David served in the US Navy for four years. He was assigned to the USS Regulus and did four Westpac tours during the Vietnam war. After his ship ran aground in Hong Kong due to Typhoon Rose, he was transferred to NSC Seattle, WA. There he met Carolyn Hall and they were married January 23, 1973. They were blessed with two sons David and Jeremiah.

After separating from the Navy, David worked as a records clerk for the National Archives and Records Centers in Seattle WA and Laguna Nigel, CA also General Services Administration Phoenix, AZ. He finished his career as a mechanic technician with the Department of Justice in Phoenix AZ.

He loved hunting, fishing, riding his ebike and volunteering with Operation Christmas Child.

David passed to his heavenly home after pancreatic cancer took his physical body on July 13,2023.

Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” David’s life purpose statement dated February 20, 2018 - “God has shown me what is required to be His servant; to not judge others; to visit those who are going through difficult times, offer them comfort and encouragement; and to walk in my life in humility with my God, and obey Him.
