David Francis Paul Holleran, 55, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on October 31, 2017. He was born August 23, 1962 in Albany, Georgia to Richard and Jean Holleran (Morris). David attended NAU and graduated from DeVry. He married Amelia Margarita Cecelia Perez at St. Simon and Jude Cathedral on November 21, 1992. David worked at Manns Christown Theatres, Ramada Data Center, AG Communications, DHL and CVS Caremark. He was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church in Phoenix. David loved watching his Philadelphia Flyers, Green Bay Packers, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was a season ticket holder for the Arizona Rattlers and missed his Phoenix Roadrunners. David enjoyed listening to music of all types, but his favorite was heavy metal. He loved to fish, but always threw them back as he hated to eat fish. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and pets Rocky, Pyppah and Lola.
David is survived by his wife Amelia Holleran (Perez), parents Richard and Jean Holleran (Morris) of Dewey, Arizona, mother and father-in-law Art and Nellie Perez (Florez), sisters of his heart Marina Perez, Abril Perez-Annala (Michael), and Isabel Perez, his much loved God Daughter and niece Amira Sadikov, beloved nieces and nephew Magdalena, Corona, and Kai, his brother Mark Holleran (Reva), loved nieces and nephew Lisa Lozito and her sons Gavin and Gunner, Leah Holleran, Dr. Lori Holleran (Kyle Howath), John Holleran. He is also survived by his Tios Nina and Robert Sanchez, Margie Leyva, Marta and Frank Almodova, Anna Perez and Frank Rodriguez, Terri Rangel, Minnie and Servando Perez, Gloria and John Garcia, Andres and Janie Perez, and his aunt Joyce Aylward (Holleran), and so many other cousins, family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents Gaga and Grandmother Holleran, and Grandpa and Nana Morris, his Uncle Thomas Holleran and Aunt Marian Holleran-Vorp (Robert), Uncle James and Aunt Beatrice, Uncle William Aylward, and Aunt Nancy Holleran, Tios Freddy and Mercy Tellez, Steve Leyva, Antonio Perez Jr., Rosalinda Garcia, cousin Valentino Navarro, and good friend and vacation buddy, Bob Wallace.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Friday, November 10, 2017 at West Resthaven Funeral Home 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. Visitation will be from 9:00AM to 10:00AM with a rosary beginning at 9:45AM. A Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00AM and will be officiated by Deacon Robert Manthie from Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church.
