Darlene Anderson

She was born Sept 12, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Herbert and Ruth Lohrbach.

Dar met the love of her life Andy when she was 19 and they were married June 20, 1959. To this union were born three daughters.

Darlene was many things to many people. Throughout her years she was a first grade teacher, a musician, a worship leader at her church, but above all, was her family.

She was adored as a mother, grandmother, and as a wife. Dar and Andy enjoyed 54 years together before the Lord called her home.

Her beauty shone from within by her loving manner and demeanor with her family and everyone she met.

Darlene is survived by her husband Harold “Andy” Anderson; daughters Dawn (Robert) Raleigh, Deborah Sue Anderson, Diane (Jeffry) Glaze; grandchildren Joshua, Megan, Laura, Melissa, Matthew, Breanna, and Jacob; and eight great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Come celebrate her homecoming in a glorious manner at Cathedral Christian Center, 16635 N 51st Ave. on Sat, July 6th 2013 at 10:30am. Visitation will be at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave. on Friday from 5-8pm. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Cemetery.
