Cristina Idalia Guzman Gutierrez

Cristina Idalia Guzman Gutierrez arrived to heaven at the early age of 38 on the evening of Saturday, October 16, 2021. Cristina was born in Ascension, Chihuahua, Mexico to the loving parents, Maximiliano Guzman and Carmen Gutierrez as one of 8 children. Cristina migrated to Arizona in the year 2000 for a new life. Cristina grew up in the Phoenix area and attended West Phoenix High School. Cristina loved being from a big family and couldn’t wait to have a family of her own. She started working for communication companies and later became a nail tech, she also worked for the family house cleaning business, all while raising her four children.

Cristina's children and family were her life. She felt very blessed to share her kindness with everyone she came across. She volunteered at homeless shelters, worked in a couple rehab and self-help centers, she even prepared and donated food to the homeless and purchased clothing and blankets herself to give to people in need.

Cristina will always be remembered for her kindness and pure heart.

Cristina leaves behind her children, Karen, Ivan, Nathaly and Aiden; mother Carmen Gutierrez and father Maximiliano Guzman; siblings, Patricia (Sergio) Molina; Carlos (Cruz Elva) Guzman; Bertha Guzman; Aracely Guzman; Luis (Monica) Guzman; Diana (Jose) Pizzaty; Daniel (Yarima) Guzman; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close family and friends.

A visitation for Cristina will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A rosary service will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 6:00 PM, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A a celebration of life & sharing will occur Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 7:00 PM, 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A mass will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 5614 W Orangewood Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
