Archie Lee Epperson

Archie served in the United States Army at the tail end of the Korean War. He returned home in 1955 and married Marjorie Oliver on September 1, 1956. They shared over 61 years of marriage prior to her passing on January 30, 2018.

Archie and Marge moved to Arizona with their family in 1963. He worked for Sperry\Honeywell for 35 years retiring in 1998.

Archie is survived by his three sons Mike (K), Mark (Karen) & David (Sandra), six grandchildren Elizabeth, Sarah, Michael Jr., Jerry, Alex & Erica, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, his sister Joanne preceded him in death.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 6-8 PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11:30 AM. Burial with military honors will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 1:30 PM.

A Memorial in Archie’s name may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014, in lieu of flowers.
