Anita L Snyder

Anita was welcomed into this wonderful world on a farm in Iowa by her parents Ernie and Josephine (Gardner) Truax. She had one sister, Leona and two brothers, Clifford and Laverne, all have since passed. Anita and Paul M. Snyder, along with sons Monty Dean Snyder and Gary Gene Snyder, moved to Phoenix, Arizona in May of 1961 from Iowa.

Anita was hired by A.B. Robbs Trust Company in Mortgage Loan Accounting, which later became Continental Bank in 1965 followed by Chase Bank in 1986. Anita was eventually promoted to Assistant Comptroller and retired in 1987 as the Vice President of Continental Bank and Chase Bank. Anita filled her days enjoying family, friends, home, golf, bowling, fishing, traveling and honestly just being in this world. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, YMCA, NABW, Bowling League and The Red Hats.

Anita was preceded in death by husband Paul Martin Snyder and their precious sons Robert Paul Snyder and Monty Dean Snyder. She is survived by son Gary Gene Snyder and a family of 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and so many friends.

She has asked to thank everyone for making her life so special. It was wonderful! Some humps, but mostly the good life. Love You!!!!

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 4PM-8PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue in Glendale. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 9AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
