She was born May 14, 1939 in Risco, Missouri, the daughter of George and Kathryn Kellick Vincent. She was the beloved wife of the late Douglas Wayne Jarrett for 37 years. They married on September 13, 1958 in Glasford, IL. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1995. She later married Rudy Jackovich on December 12, 1997. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2000.
Peggy was a devoted mother and is survived by one son, Rob (Linda) Jarrett of Glasford and one daughter, Debra (Dan) Kelsey of Kingston Mines. Loving grandmother of Kristina (Landon) Galligan and Lindsey (Jake) Lox. Cherished great-grandmother of Abbi Galligan, Wesley Galligan and Rhett Lox. She also is survived by one brother, Stanley (Carolyn) Vincent of Glasford and one sister, Lillie Howell of Trivoli. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.
Peggy will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her warm and welcoming smile, and her love of gardening and flowers. She leaves a beautiful legacy of caring for others and her love of animals, especially her two dogs Ace and Rosie.
Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Glasford, Illinois. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Pastor Bob DeBolt will officiate.
Burial will be in Kingston Mines Cemetery.
