Timothy Robert “Bob” Regan, 71, passed away on October 26, 2015 in Kansas City, MO. He was born on December 14, 1943 to John and Lestie (Coberly) Regan in Chillicothe, MO. He was the next to youngest of six, with one sister, Dorothy, and four brothers, Clarence, Richard, Bill and Jim. Bob graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1961. He joined the Missouri National Guard Battery B in Chillicothe in 1964. During his time in the National Guard, he received commendations for rifle sharp shooting. As a young man, his favorite car was his bronze-colored ’57 Chevy, among other cars he owned. Bob worked at Mart Drug for a while in Chillicothe after graduation. In 1967, he was hired on at the Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO, where his brother Jim also worked. He and Jim enjoyed meeting up with buddies after work at the Cue Ball across the street from the plant to have “a few” and play some pool. In 2001 he retired from the commercial paint department after working at Ford Motor Company for 34 years. Bob married Linda Monroe in 2009. Together they enjoyed going fishing, going to movies, dinner theatre and also many vacations to tropical places. Bob always loved to play pool and used to be in a pool league; he was always known to be a very good shot at pool (as well as all of his brothers). He also loved spending time, fishing and hunting at the cabin near Chillicothe that he and his brothers owned – lots of great memories there. One time he and Linda were fishing, and Bob’s pole was hanging over the side of the boat when a big bass jumped out of the water towards his lure and landed right in the boat! He also enjoyed golf, doing woodworking projects around the house and he loved keeping his yard looking nice. He took great pride in his Morton building that was his retirement gift to himself, and also in his deck that he and his brother Jim had built/extended. Bob also enjoyed meeting his good friend, Sam (Glen Sampson) for breakfast on Fridays. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA. Survivors include his wife, Linda of Kansas City, MO two brothers, Bill Regan of Chillicothe, MO and Jim Regan of Liberty, MO and several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Also two step-sons Chad Wines and Brad Monroe, one step-daughter, Kristen and husband Jordan and 8 grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Richard, one sister, Dorothy Vanderpool, a niece, Michelle Regan, and a great nephew, Clay Regan. Also a brother-in-law, Roger Vanderpool, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Regan.
