Sharon Carol DeWitt, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri went to be with the Lord on Thursday February 11, 2021.
Sharon was born June 26, 1944 to Benjamin and Irene Snyder in Lake City, Michigan. Sharon’s family describes her as a loving and friendly person who was a “social butterfly” with all she met. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and craft that she created and used them as decorations and gifts to her loved ones. Sharon enjoyed playing cards and games with a weekly group and really enjoyed a good game of BINGO. The best memories she created were times when the whole family gathered and celebrated events and holidays. Being with her grandchildren was very important to her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wilfred Snyder; and sisters, Wilma Haveman, Wava Hamel, Roena Bair, Sandra Snyder, Merita Lippert, and Arthel Cates.
Survivors her husband of 54 years, Larry DeWitt; children, Rick (Sara) DeWitt and Dawn (Rob) Carter; her brother, Arnie (Diane) Snyder; her grandchildren, Allie and Abbie DeWitt, and Charity Cater; and numerous other special family members.
