Raymond was born on April 8, 1930 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Edward and Kathleen Mots. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Raymond worked at General Motors starting as a mechanic then retired as a Fleet Service Manager. Raymond married Bernice, September 20, 1958, and had three children. His children remember him as a passionate and driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Raymond was accomplished at whatever he set his mind to. He was a generous and witty individual who loved helping his neighbors and is known as "neighbor Ray", he was passionate about having the best looking yard.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Kathleen Mots, Grandchildren Brandon Mots and Tanner Mots
Raymond is survived by his wife Bernice Mots, Children; Randy Mots, Tony Mots, and Carolyn Mots, Grandchildren; Kelsi Mots, Tony Mots, Aubrey Pratt, Tawnie DePew, Rachel Rykowski, Shelton Mots, Dawson Mots and Bailey Mots, Great grandchildren; Brayden Mots, Jewel DePew, and Jade DePew
Both the visitation and graveside services will take place at the White Chapel Funeral Home 6600 NE Antioch Road Gladstone, MO 64119. The visitation is scheduled for Wednesday May 23rd from 6 pm to 8 pm and the graveside services are scheduled for Thursday May 24th at 12 pm. All are welcome to join the family in celebrating Ray's
